When the owner’s landscape architect and general contractor needed help managing stormwater runoff and integrating the design into the landscape they knew to call Eaglebrook. Working with the existing topography which was dominated by shallow ledge, Eaglebrook designed several low impact stormwater components that blended into the landscape design. Existing mature trees and proposed tree plantings were integrated into a rain garden was designed to manage runoff from the 6,500 sf dwelling and groundwater sump in the basement sports court. The end result was an area that is a visually attractive part of the landscape while still managing runoff and protecting adjacent properties.
