JRM Greenworks, Peabody Massachusetts

JRM Greenworks was proposing a substantial recycling center on Route 1 in Peabody and the civil engineer of record knew stormwater runoff would be difficult to manage. Adjacent to other built out commercial projects and busy Route 1, stormwater would need to be managed on site. With over 100,000 sf of pavement and the 53,500 sf building to deal with runoff from, Eaglebrook evaluated several products and methods of stormwater management. Due to the heavy truck traffic and loading on the site, Contech Rainstore concrete chambers in conjunction with pervious pavement were chosen to maximize the storage with the limited footprint available. Eaglebrook performed the existing conditions survey, property line survey, on site soil testing, stormwater management design, vehicle swept path analysis and assisted with permitting with the City of Peabody and MassDOT.
