Eaglebrook’s principals are highly experienced in all aspects of stormwater management, hydrologic studies, and hydraulic modeling.  Our experience in EPA SWMM, HEC-RAS, TR-20, and TR-55 is utilized in site designs, as peer review consultants, consultants to other engineering firms, and as expert testimony.
CVS, Malden Massachusetts
Eaglebrook was responsible for designing the stormwater system and recharge facility to meet the City of Malden Stormwater and Land Disturbance Regulation. The analysis started with evaluating the onsite soils in order to assess the infiltration capacity and depth to seasonal high groundwater.  The recharge system utilized infiltration chambers to attenuate various storm events prior to discharge to the city storm drain system.  Hydrodynamic separators were used prior to the infiltration chambers to reduce the amount of Total Suspended Solids (TSS) discharging to the recharge area.
 
Tapley Road, Lynnfield Massachusetts
Eaglebrook was contracted to provide groundwater mounding analysis to evaluate the performance of two infiltration systems and their effect on groundwater elevations during various storm events.  The analysis was performed with the Hantush Model using Glover’s Solution.  Our expertise in surficial geology, bedrock depth in the area, understanding of the hydraulic characteristics of the parent soil, and surface runoff calculations allowed an accurate interpretation of the groundwater mound.

We provide, on a periodic basis, stormwater management system inspections, compliance monitoring and reporting on numerous sites in Massachusetts, Connecticut and Maine for a major retailer.  We prepare regular stormwater management system inspections, coordinate system repairs and maintenance and provide recommendations to retrofit existing stormwater controls.  We also monitor local rainfall data and compare elevations of an existing canal to ensure the proper functioning of the compensatory flood storage area.
 
 
Boston Water and Sewer Commission Site Plans

The Boston Water and Sewer Commission (BWSC) requires stormwater to be mitigated during building renovations and/or construction.  Eaglebrook has prepared many BWSC Site Plans, stormwater analysis and calculations, drywell designs, and utility connections as required by the BWSC.  A detailed utility survey identifies all of the record information and is the basis for preparing an engineered site plan for the sewer, water, fire pipe and/or stormwater utility.
