Michael Juliano, P.E., P.L.S.
Michael J. Juliano has extensive civil engineering and land survey experience throughout the New England area. His experience has been obtained, over a thirty-five year period, on projects throughout the eastern United States.
Mr. Juliano has worked with both private developments and municipal projects, involving the design and inspection of stormwater management facilities, sanitary sewage systems, subsurface sewage disposal systems, small pumping stations, roadways, temporary and permanent retaining walls, and geotechnical earth retention systems. A significant portion of the public sector work has been as a technical consultant to towns and cities for review of stormwater calculations and analysis, the conformance of the stormwater facilities to local, state and federal regulations, and review of civil/site engineering design associated with residential and commercial developments.
Mr. Juliano has expertise in civil/site design, which includes sanitary sewer collection systems, design of parking areas for large commercial projects, site grading for residential and commercial projects, and preparation of contract specifications and drawings for bidding purposes.
Mr. Juliano also has extensive land surveying experience, including title insurance surveys, boundary retracement surveys, data accumulation surveys, topographic surveys, construction layout, as built surveys, hydrographic surveys, and GPS surveying. Mr. Juliano has provided land surveying services to federal agencies, state officials, local municipalities, and private clients throughout his career.

Kenneth Knowles, P.E.
Kenneth C. Knowles has been providing civil engineering services and solutions to private and municipal clients throughout New England for over 20 years. His diverse civil engineering experience includes commercial site design, stormwater management facilities, site grading, and construction administration. Ken’s ability to represent projects at public hearings and navigate complex regulatory environments throughout New England is a valuable asset to clients.
Ken is a registered Professional Engineer in Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont, a Massachusetts Certified Title 5 Soil Evaluator, and a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control. He is equally at home brainstorming a solution to a field conflict in a construction trailer as he is presenting projects and representing clients at public hearings. His straight forward and honest approach has earned the respect of his clients, municipal officials, and peers alike.
When not working, you can find Ken cycling NH’s Seacoast, coaching kids in a cold hockey rink, or enjoying the outdoors with his family.
Mr. Knowles’ past project highlights include:
- The Village Shopping Plaza, Southington CT. The 400,000 sf retail plaza was awarded the 2008 CT Real Estate Perseverance Award;
- Partridgeberry Place subdivision, Ipswich MA. The 20 lot open space subdivision is used by the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation as an example of how to design and implement Low Impact Design stormwater management techniques
- Endicott Green, Danvers, MA. The 258 unit apartment complex was permitted under the Massachusetts 40B rule
- AVSG, compressed natural gas filling stations, various sites throughout Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island
